DETAILS OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING PROGRAMME UNDER VARIOUS GOVT. SCHEMES

  1. Radiance Foundation openedone “Skill Development Center” at Chenga under Barpeta District in July, 2010 and another one at Dampur under Kamrup District in September, 2015. The centerswere recognized as one of the Extension Centers for conducting (free of cost) skill development training programs under Community Development through Polytechnic (CDTP) Scheme of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, New Delhi. The training programs were implemented through the Assam Engineering Institute (AEI), Chandmari, Guwahati and Girls’ Polytechnic (GP),Bamunimaidan,Guwahati.
  2. Radiance Foundation was approved as Vocational Training Provider (VTP) on 15.09.2015 for conducting (free of cost) Modular Employable Skills (MES) courses approved by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) under Skill Development Initiative Scheme (SDIS) of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) Govt. of India, New Delhi and it was implemented through the Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Assam.
  3. Radiance Foundation was approved as Training Partner (TP) for conducting (free of cost) Skill Development training programme under Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM), Govt. of Assam from March,2018 at Sixmile,Guwahati and from February,2019 at Chenga.
