Education, Skill development and Awareness activities of Radiance Foundation since the year 2010

  1. 01.07.2010: Inauguration of Skill development course on Electronic Home Appliances Repairing under Community Development through Polytechnic (CDTP) scheme of MHRD, Govt. of India, implemented through the CDTP cell of Assam Engineering Institute (AEI), Chandmari, Guwahati.
  2. 01/12/2010: Inauguration of Skill development course on Electrical Wiremen under Community Development through Polytechnic (CDTP) scheme w.e.f. 01/12/2010 to 28/02/2011
  3. 26.02.11: Awareness program on Career and Personality was conducted for the benefit of students who completed Skill development courses. Dr.Nurul Amin, Associate Professor, J.B College, Jorhat was invited as Resource Person.
  4. 01.03.2011: Inauguration of Skill development course on Computer Hardware Maintenance. The course formally ended on 31/05/2011
  5. 04.04.2011: Inauguration of One-month free coaching program for Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT), 2011 was with 10 students. PAT guide books were distributed freely amongst the students. 6. 12.06.11: Valedictory function of the skill development course on “Electrical Wiremen” was attended by Shri. Akshoy Chandra Kalita, Principal, AEI, Chandmari, Guwahati and two senior faculties of AEI Mr.Roisuddin Ahmed, H.O.D., Electrical Department and Mr. Ashok Das, CDTP Coordinator.
  6. 15.07.2011: Inauguration of Skill development course on Embroidery under CDTP scheme.
  7. 04.07.2011: Inauguration of six-month free coaching program for economically weaker students of class X in the subjects of Mathematics, Science and English. The free coaching program was sponsored by Mr. Nazmul Hoque, Solace Hospital, Goalpara.
  8. 12.11.2011: Donation of Books & Furniture to the Kutubuddin Ahmed Memorial Library under Pub Chenga High School. The library was inaugurated by Sri. Ramani Kanta Pathak, Retired Principal, Chenga H.S.School, Cheng.
  9. 30.12.2011: Awareness Program on Skill Development and Employment and it was attended by Sri Giasuddin Ahmed, General Manager and Extension officer of District Industry & Commerce Center, Barpeta
  10. 23.01.2012: Valedictory function of six-month free coaching program for economically weaker students in the subjects of Mathematics, Science and English. 12. 18.04.2012: Inauguration of one-month free coaching program for PAT 2012. Free coaching program was attended by 13 H.S.L.C. appeared students.
  11. 30.04.2012: The Yearly subscription for the year 2012-13 of Assamese Magazines namely Prantik, Sofura and Bigyan Jeuti to the Kutubuddin Ahmed Memorial Library under Pub Chenga High School, Chenga.

  16. 31.01.2013: Conclusion of 3-months Skill development course on Repairing of Electrical Home Appliances under CDTP scheme of MHRD, Govt. of India, implemented through the CDTP cell of AEI, Chandmari, Guwahati.
  17. 24.03.2013: Awareness program on Career Development & Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT), 2013 at Skill Development Center, Chenga. It was attended by Dr. Nazrul Haque, Managing Trustee, Radiance Foundation.
  18. 25.05.2013: Inauguration of Wall Magazine (Rengoni) at Chenga Basic Bazar, Chenga by Mr. Nazmul Hoque, Solace Hospital, Goalpara.
  19. 01.06.2013: Renewal of Yearly subscription of Assamese Magazines namely Prantik, Sofura and Bigyan Jeuti to the Kutubuddin Ahmed Memorial Library under Pub Chenga High School for the year 2013-14

  24. 01.07.2014: Inauguration of one month free coaching program for economically weaker students of class X for subjects of Mathematics & Science at Chenga M.V.School, Chenga
  25. 28.10.2014: Distribution of Kutubuddin Ahmed Memorial Prizes on the Annual Day Function of Pub-Chenga High School to four needy and meritorious students who obtained first division in H.S.L.C. examination held in 2014 from the school.
  26. 17.05.2015: Inauguration of newly built house named as “Kutubuddin Ahmed-Nurunnessa Education Centre (KANEC)” by Alhajein Nurunnessa for carrying out educational and social activities by Radiance Foundation.
  27. 09.06.2015: The Inauguration of Three Months (free of cost) Skill Development Training Program on “Cutting, Tailoring & Embroidery” under CDTP Cell of Girls’ Polytechnic, Guwahati at Skill Development Centre run by Radiance Foundation at Dampur village under Kamrup (Rural) District. The program was inaugurated by Shri H. K. Bhattacharjya, Principal, Girls’ Polytechnic, Guwahati. The training program was attended by 50 numbers of women of participants from the village
  28. 01.07.2015: Starting of free of cost coaching program for the benefit of students of class X in General Science and General Mathematics subjects under the guidance of Dr.Rajani Pathak at Chenga. About 30 students attended the coaching program.
  29. 30.07.2015: An awareness meeting on “Education & Skill Development” was attended by Sri.Satyendra Nath Pathak, Principal,Chenga H.S.School, Dr.Nurul Amin, Associate Professor ,J.B.College, Jorhat , Dr.Ali Akbar Hussain, H.O.D, English Deptt., Suren Das College, Hajo and Dr.Faridur Rahman, Assistant Director, Veterinary Department, Khanapara, Guwahati
  30. 23.09.15: Valedictory Function for Three Months free Course on "Cutting Tailoring & Embroidery" conducted under CDTP Scheme of Girls' Polytechnic, Guwahati at Skill Development Center run by Radiance Foundation at Dampur Village of Kamrup(Rural) District. There were 49 women/girls who successfully completed the course and were awarded Certificates.
  31. 23.09.15: Valedictory Function for Three Months free Course on "Cutting Tailoring & Embroidery" conducted under CDTP Scheme of Girls' Polytechnic, Guwahati at Skill Development Center run by Radiance Foundation at Dampur Village of Kamrup(Rural) District. There were 49 women/girls who successfully completed the course and were awarded Certificates.
  32. 09.02.2016: Certificate Distribution Ceremony of the free of cost (three months) skill development course on "Electrical Home Appliances Repairing" conducted under CDTP Scheme of MHRD, Govt. of India being implemented through AEI at Chenga village. The programme was attended by Sri. Mahmudul Hassan ACS, Project Director, DRDA Barpeta District as Chief Guest
  33. 15.02.2016: Starting of Poor Children’s Primary Education Programme at Kutubuddin Ahmed & Nurunnessa Education Centre (KANEC), Chenga under guidance of Sri. Hasib Ahmed, Academic Coordinator, Radiance Foundation
  34. 13.03.2016: An Awareness Programme on "Skill Development for Employment" organized by Radiance Foundation at F.A.Nagar, Sixmile, Guwahati on 13.03.2016 was attended by Mr.Mahbubul Haque, Chancellor, USTM and Mr. A.S.Dewan, Faculty,IIE, Guwahati. The meeting was presided by Mr. Giasuddin Ahmed, Retired GM, DIC, Barpeta
  35. 24.07.2016 Certificates were distributed to successful trainees completing 600 hours duration skill development course on "Electrician Domestic" under Ministry of Skill Development, Govt. of India run by at Radiance Foundation, Sixmile, Guwahati.
  36. 01.07.2016: 35 Students of Class X from poor family background completed 03 Months free of cost Special Coaching (Sixth Batch since the year 2011) w.e.f 01.07.2016 to 30.09.2016 on Science and Mathematics subjects.
  37. 27.08.2016: A High School Level Quiz Competition was organized at Pub-Chenga High School, Chenga. First Prize of Rs.3001/- was won by the students of Sankardev Shishu Niketan,Chenga and the Second Prize of Rs.2001/- was won by students of Kukarpar High School The Prizes were awarded by Shri.Girija Dev Sharma, Dy GM, APDCEL.

  38. 12.11.2016: 150 students attended an Awareness Programme on "Career and Skill Development" at Dreamland English School, Mukalmua under Nalbari District. The meeting was presided by Sri. Ananta Haloi, a local Retired Teacher and addressed by Dr.Ali Akbar Hussain H.O.D., Deptt of English Suren Das College, Hajo.
  39. 26.03.2017: 28 women participants were awarded certificates for skill development course on "Sewing Machine Operator" conducted under CDTP Scheme of AEI, Guwahati. Dr.Saiki Talukdar, Assistant Professor, Kamrup College, Chamata attended the ceremony as Chief Guest.
  40. 06.04.2017: Starting of Helping Hand Programme for primary school children of poor and illiterate parents for enhancing the reading and writing skills.
  41. 21.05.2017: Certificates were distributed to the trainees who successfully completed the Six months skill development training programme on "Electrician Domestic" run under SDI Scheme of Govt of India.
  42. 03. 07. 2017: Starting of free coaching programme for class X students of poor family background in the subjects of Science and Mathematics at KANEC,Chenga. Around 50 students participated in the programme.
  43. 08.07.2017: Felicitation Programme for the 19 students who successfully passed with First Division in H.S.L.C. Exam-2017 by participating in a Free of Cost Coaching Programme conducted at KANEC,Chenga for students of poor family background. The Programme was attended by Sri. Brajendra Nath Talukdar, Retired Officer, ASTC as Chief Guest
  44. 12.11.2017: Hajee Nisar Ali Memorial Prize Money Quiz Competition-2017 for Class IX and Class X level students was organized at KANEC,Chenga. The First Prize of Rs.4001/- was won by Vivekananda Vidya Niketan,Tihu and Second Prize of Rs.3001/- was won by Al Hilal Academy, Khongra. The Quiz was conducted by Sri Samarendra Thakuria and Mahibul Islam and assisted by Hasib Ahmed, Jintu Hussain, Mirajul Haque and Putla Test.
  45. 14.11.2017: Completion of 02-Months Skill Development Training Programme on Plumber conducted at KANEC, Chenga under CDTP Scheme of MHRD, Govt. of India implemented through AEI, Guwahati.
  46. 10.12.2017: Certificates were distributed to 26 women trainees for the 03 months free of cost Skill Development Training on "Readymade Dress Making" conducted at KANEC, Chenga under CDTP Cell of Girls' Polytechnic, Guwahati. The meeting was attended by Sri. Girija Prasad Sarma, General Manager, APDCL Assam, as Chief Guest and Sri Jahanur Rahman Lecturer, Girls' Polytechnic, Guwahati and Sri. Subratjit Lahon, Instructor, Girls ' Polytechnic, Guwahati as Invited Guest.
  47. 15.03.2018: Starting of Primary School Children Education Programme at KANEC, Chenga for enhancing basic knowledge of Assamese, English and Arithmetic with free distribution of Exercise Book and Pencil
  48. 21.06.2018: Celebration of International Yoga Day at Radiance Foundation, Sixmile Guwahati on by the trainees of the skill development courses run under ASDM, Govt. of Assam 50. 01.07.2018: Felicitation Programme for the 22 students who passed with First Division in H.S.L.C.:2018 and these students participated in a Free of Cost Coaching conducted at KANEC, Chenga and it was attended by Sri. Dibyajyoti Mahanta, Dean, KKHOU, Dr. Harendra Nath Talukdar, Principal, M.K.College Chenga
  49. 31.08.2018: Certificates were distributed to 18 numbers of women trainees in a Valedictory function for the 03-Month duration course w.e.f 30.04.18 to 30.07.18 on "Domestic Data Entry Operator" under CDTP Cell of Girls' Polytechnic, Guwahati, at KANEC, Chenga in presence of Jahanur Rahman, Lecturer (SG), Girls' Polytechnic.
  50. 02.10.2018: Inauguration of free coaching for admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya(JNV) through Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST)-2019 where fifteen meritorious students of class V from the village participated in the programme.
  51. 05.12.2018: Certificate Distribution Programme for the Hand Embroidery course under ASDM at Sixmile, Guwahati was attended by Syeda Jasmine Akhtar of Urna Fashion House, Sri. Ahil Rao of Bajaj Allianz and Niloofar Hussain, Trained Faculty of Fashion Technology.
  52. 09.02.2019 Certificate Distribution Ceremony for the Assistant Electrician training programme, under ASDM was held at Sixmile, Guwahati. 17 numbers of trainees successfully completed the training programme.
  53. 3.02.2019: Soft Skill Training programme for Trainees of Assistant Electrician course under ASDM at KANEC, Chenga by Sri. Spandan Barthakur, a Soft Skill Trainer from Guwahati.
  54. 15.04.2019 Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held for successful completion of free of cost skill development training on "Sewing Machine Operator" under CDTP Scheme of AEI, Guwahati conducted at KANEC, Chenga. 21 trainees successfully completed the course.
  55. 01.05.2019: Starting of Primary School Children Education Programme from poor family background for enhancing basic knowledge of Assamese, English and Arithmetic under the able guidance of Hasibuddin Ahmed (Rana) at KANEC, Chenga.
  56. 22.06.2019: Certificate Distribution Ceremony for Assistant Electrician and Hand Embroiderer courses under ASDM, Govt. Of Assam was held at Radiance Foundation, Sixmile, Guwahati and it was attended by Mr. Nurul Islam Laskar, Retired SBI Chief Manager and PR Expert, Mr. Spandan Barthakur, Soft Skill Trainer, Mr. Mirza Arif Hazarika, an upcoming Assamese Film Director.
  57. 01.07.2019: Starting of Free coaching for class X students at KANEC, Chenga for Science and Mathematics subjects from poor family backgrounds.
  58. 05.10.2019: Inauguration of free coaching for admission into class VI in JNV through JNVST-2020. 20 meritorious students from poor family background studying in Class V participated in the coaching programme
  59. 03.01.2021: Inauguration of free coaching for students of class V from the village admission into class VI in JNV through JNVST-2021 at KANEC, Chenga.
  60. 03.01.2021: Felicitation to 10 students, who attended free coaching programs of class 10 in 2019 and secured First Division in H.S.L.C-2020 Exam.
  61. 01.02.2021: Starting of free coaching for the 10th consecutive year for HSLC 2021 batch at KANEC, Chenga under guidance of an experienced teacher Dr.Rajani Pathak of Sankardev Sishu Niketan, Chenga ,Barpeta.
  62. 29.12.2021: Starting of free coaching for the 11th consecutive year for HSLC 2022 batch at KANEC, Chenga under guidance of an experienced teacher Dr.Rajani Pathak of Sankardev Sishu Niketan , Chenga ,Barpeta.
  63. 26.12.2021: One day Zikir workshop at Chenga was inaugurated by Sri Rohini Kumar Das and it was conducted by renowned Zikir Artist Azimuddin Ahmed. Around 40 students participated in the workshop. Certificates were awarded to all the students who successfully completed the program.
  64. 01.03.2022: Starting of a new school named as Shiksha Jyoti Vidyalaya at Chenga with 3 classes at lower primary level.

  66. 22.10.2022: Career Awareness Meeting for Higher Secondary/Secondary level students organized at Shiksha Jyoti Vidyalaya, Chenga. The meeting was addressed by Sri Deepankar Bhattacharjya , Motivational Speaker
  67. 10.11.2022: Inauguration of free coaching for admission into class VI in JNVST-2023 at KANEC, Chenga for 15 meritorious students of class V from the village.
  68. 13.05.2023: A lecture by Dr. Nurul Islam, Assistant Professor, KHS College, Sixmile, Guwahati by on “Role of Parents and Teachers for all-round development of children” at Shiksha Jyoti Vidyalaya, Chenga
